2014 Summer Camps!!!

At Good Shepherd, we believe that all children should be able to participate in our summer camps, regardless of ability to pay. To find out more about discounts, camperships and other financial aid for Good Shepherd’s summer camps, please check the registration forms available online or in the lobbies at each campus. Offsite Camping:

Pine Lake Bible Camp, near Waupaca, WI, offers faith and fun for people of all ages! Good Shepherd has been affiliated with Pine Lake and its umbrella organization, Crossways Camping Ministries, for many years. So this summer, take advantage of these two great opportunities: Pine Lake Week and/or Family Camp Weekend. Wonder at God’s creation, meet new friends, reconnect with old friends, or enjoy relaxing family time!

Good Shepherd Week at Pine Lake Camp
Join us at Pine Lake Bible Camp for a wonderful week of faith and fun! Bible study, swimming, boating, campfires, worship, overnights, crafts, games, skits and of course, crazy camp songs! Pine Lake Camp is located about 2 hours north of Madison, near Waupaca, WI. Early registration discounts are available, and discounts for Good Shepherd members are provided. ($50.00 per child for a full week, $25.00 per child for a half week or for Family Camp.) Additional financial aid is available upon request. (See above.)

Full Week:     July 6-11 (Sun 3:00 pm-Fri 1:00 pm)
Ages:         Completed Grades 3-12

Half Week:     July 6-8 (Sun 3:00 pm-Tue 6:30 pm) 
Ages:         Completed Grades 1-3
Cost:         $210.00 (See registration forms for discount information.)

Family Camp Weekend
For families of one or more, and all ages! Grandparents, bring your grandkids! General camp activities led by camp staff, with time to relax and renew!

Dates:         Aug. 2-4 (Friday-Sunday)
Ages:         All ages welcome!
Location:     Pine Lake Camp, Waupaca, WI
Cost:         Adult $146.00: Children’s prices vary

Arrival:         Friday, 7:00 pm (Eat dinner before you arrive)
Departure:     Sunday, 11:00 am (Brunch served)
Lodging:     Cabins with indoor bathrooms and showers, or Evergreen Lodge, high comfort housing (additional cost)


On-Site Day Camps:

Good Shepherd offers a number of day camps for kids from Age 2-Grade 5! Registration forms are available in the lobby at each campus or online at Registration is open to non-members, so bring a friend! Critter Camp “Whooo” wants to squirrel away God’s love? Not us! Preschoolers and their caregivers will fawn over Bible stories about God’s “deer” forest animals.  Wolf down snacks. Enjoy “beary” fun crafts and music!  Critter Campers need to attend with a caregiver. Childcare for younger siblings will be available.

Gangway to Galilee VBS Set sail on an amazing grace adventure at Vacation Bible School! Jesus guides us as we journey through the gospels with music, crafts, games and snacks! Choose between TWO sessions.

Galilee Closing Worship and Picnic: Thursday, 11:00 am

Upward Basketball Camp Jesus’ love and living in God’s family are highlighted along with basic BB skills. Each day features drills, games and an interactive Biblical devotion. All skill levels welcome. T-shirt, basketball included. (Enrollment is limited, so please register early!)

Faith & Fitness Camp This well-loved camp teaches us to care for one of God’s greatest creations: US! Discover how fun, exercise, games, healthy snacks, sports activities, relaxation, Bible learning and faith building help kids to shine their brightest for Jesus!

Pine Lake Day Camp Wonder what “overnight camp” is like? Amazing staff from Pine Lake Bible Camp lead songs, games, skits, crafts, Bible learning & a field trip! The only thing missing is your sleeping bag and the lake!
