Carol Choir members are 3, 4 and 5 year old children.  The group serves at Central Campus worship once a month, and also during special services throughout the school year.  We explore music and worship through song, prayer, dance, instruments and Bible stories!

New Creations
Beth Ford, Director
Rehearses Thursdays, 4:45-5:30 pm, West

New Creations members are 3, 4, and 5 year old children.  The group serves at West Campus worship once each month, and also during special services throughout the school year.  Rehearsals focus on traditional Bible songs using Musikgarten’s “God’s Children Sing” curriculum, and include use of instruments, dance, prayer and storytelling.

Upside

Upside is a music and movement leadership team of boys and girls in grades 3-5.  The group serves once a month during the school year at “The Family Room,” a family worship service at West Campus.  Upsiders also rotate leading music for church school large group worship at West Campus.  Rehearsals include vocal, rhythm and movement skills, a focus on the virtue and Bible verse of the month, exploration of instruments, and prayer.

Jubilee!

New this year, Jubilee members are Kindergarten through 2^nd grade children.  The group serves at Central Campus worship once each month as well as during special services throughout the school year.  Children will sing music that is both contemporary and traditional.  Rehearsals include prayer and sharing time as well as a variety of activities and games so children learn good vocal technique, listening skills, and movement.  Students will also develop rhythm basics such as keeping a steady beat by using instruments.  Come join us!

Chime Choir

Our Chime Choir is an instrumental hand-chime group consisting of boys and girls in grades 3 – 5.  The group will practice a variety of traditional and contemporary songs that will be shared during worship once a month, alternating between campuses.  Rehearsals will include sharing prayer time, exploring rhythms and note values, and learning good chiming techniques.  This will be accomplished through activities that include using other instruments such as boomwhackers.  Join us to learn the art form of hand chimes!

New! uShine

uShine is a new music group this year for 3-5^th grade boys and girls.  This group serves at Central Campus worship once a month and also during special services through the school year.  Rehearsals will include teambuilding and cooperation games that will enhance musical ensemble work.  The use of written music will further challenge our young musicians as they sing and use percussion instruments.  A wide variety of Christian music styles will be explored, along with personalizing the music to aid in each others spiritual growth!
